Home/Services/Annual Service

The Annual Service your van actually needs.

Annual — every 12 months. Not just a cosmetic check — a full inspection and service of every wear item, safety item, and system on the van.

Not a pink slip / eSafety inspection. Our Annual Service is a comprehensive maintenance and safety service — it does not produce an eSafety Check report and cannot be used for trailer registration renewal. If you need a pink slip, you'll need a separate visit to an authorised inspection station. We can flag anything that would fail an eSafety inspection during our service so you know what to fix first.

Why it matters.

Caravans live a harder life than most cars. They sit stationary for months, cook in the Australian sun, then get towed at 100 km/h for 500km with suspension loads that can exceed a ute. Nothing on a caravan gets easier with neglect — it all gets more expensive.

An Annual Service catches three categories of problem before they become three categories of disaster:

  • Bearings and brakes. A dry bearing or a seized brake magnet is a wheel off the van at highway speed. Repacking bearings and checking brakes annually is the single most important thing you can do.
  • Water ingress. Every caravan eventually leaks. An annual seal inspection catches the leak before your ceiling rots and costs $3,000 to replace.
  • 12V and safety. RCD, smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, battery. These are the things that don't tell you they've failed until you need them.

Book your Annual Service —

What you get.

At the end of every Annual Service, you get an email with:

  • A PDF report of every check performed, with a tick, cross, or note against each item
  • Photos of anything flagged for attention — with an explanation of how urgent it is
  • A clear list of recommended follow-ups, with fixed prices if we can quote them immediately
  • Your next service-due date (12 months from today)

You keep the report. Next time you sell the van, it becomes part of the resale documentation — and documented service history is one of the first things serious caravan buyers look for.

2026 PRICING

Fixed price. No surprises.

Book directly online. Deposit secures your slot; balance payable on completion.

What's not included: parts that need replacing (brake shoes, bearings, smoke alarm battery, etc.) are charged at trade-plus-15% and shown on your invoice. Most Annual Services don't need any replacements — we flag during service, you approve before we order.

FAQ.

My van is under 12 months old. Do I need this?

If you want to preserve the manufacturer warranty, yes — most manufacturers require annual servicing by a licensed workshop. Our NSW Motor Vehicle Repairer Licence satisfies that requirement. Bring us your warranty booklet and we'll stamp it.

What if you find something wrong?

We photograph it, explain it, and quote the fix. Low-urgency fixes (a loose light fitting, a worn seal) we can often do on the same visit. Bigger fixes (brakes, bearings replacements) get a separate quote, and you decide if and when to proceed.

Can I watch?

Yes. Many customers do. If you want the full walk-through-and-learn experience, book the Weekend Warrior version instead — same service, done alongside you with full explanation, plus you keep a starter kit.

How long does it take?

4 hours for a single-axle, 5 hours for a pop-top, 5.5 hours for a tandem. We arrive, we work, we don't leave until the checklist is complete.
