Yes — a standard 10A power outlet and a garden tap within about 20 metres of the van are required for most services. This keeps our vehicle weight and your price down. Off-grid sites can be quoted with a surcharge.
For some jobs (Brakes & Bearings, 12V Diagnostic, Plumbing, Quick Fix, Ceiling Replacement) the booking price is a callout that includes the first hour of work. If we can fix it in that hour, that's all you pay. If it needs more time or parts, we tell you on the spot, agree the price with you, and proceed. No surprise invoices. No "we'll get back to you" delays — you see the work happen.
We pause, photograph, quote the additional work, and only proceed once you've approved the new scope in writing. Every booking includes a discovery-allowance clause so there are no mid-job surprises.
Sometimes. Many water-damage claims aren't covered (gradual damage exclusion), which is why our flat-rate repairs exist. If you have a claim, we can quote into it — but most customers find it faster to pay directly and skip the insurer.
